Private training...

Maybe class schedules don't work for you.  Or you prefer to work one-on-one.  Or your dog needs some work before he is ready to enter a class.  At those times, private training may be the better choice.  Usually private training is held at the Pet Care Center, but arrangements can be made for at-home training as well.

I have held classes at Northeast Middle School through Minneapolis Public Schools Community Education for over 20 years.  These classes are organized and scheduled through the Community Education office so you need to contact them for information.  Classes offered are:
   Puppy Socialization and Training
        (under 6 months old)
   Dog Obedience I (at least 6 months old)
   Dog Obedience II (at least 6 months old,
        graduates of Dog Obedience I)

Classes are also available at the Pet Care Center in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota and I handle the scheduling for these.  For more information you may contact me.

Workshops are available on a variety of subjects from integrating a new dog into your home to dealing with dog aggression. 

Tip:  Begin your program before your dog is actually biting, before she has destroyed your house, before your partner says "It's me or the dog!"  You will find it easier to solve these problems if you start working on them early.  But even if you are way past that point...now is a good time to start.
