| Who we are... Second Chance St. Bernard Rescue, Inc. is a network of trained and experienced volunteers who take in, foster, rehabilitate, and adopt out Saint Bernards who are in need of loving, responsible homes. Dogs come to us from shelters, pounds, and owner turn-ins. We have a veterinary advisor who works with us to treat the dogs when they come into rescue and provide for their health needs while in our care. |
How you can help... As a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, Second Chance was incorporated in April 1998 and has been operating steadily since then. Although we are located in Minnesota we have also helped many dogs from other states when possible. We welcome new volunteers. We are always in need of people with big hearts who can foster dogs, help transport dogs, do home checks, help with mailings, and more. | Donations are always welcome... Adoption fees are low and often do not cover the cost of treating and maintaining a dog in rescue until it is adopted. There are a couple of fun ways you can help us continue our work. We can receive donations from I Give when you register and make purchases through their shopping network. I Give has over 600 on-line stores for you to choose from. Just be sure to indicate that you want your donations to go to Second Chance Saint Bernard Rescue, Inc. And we thank you very much!
